CALHOUN FALLS -- Martha Fisher Fields, 74, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Autrey Cleveland Fields, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the McCormick Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born in Anderson, SC to Lucille Blume Fisher Scott and the late Thomas Clayton Fisher.
Mrs. Fields retired from the WestPoint Stevens Calhoun Plant with over 30 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Fields attended Northside Baptist Church, Calhoun Falls.
In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Donald Scott and a sister, Vickie Scott.
Mrs. Fields is survived by her mother of Anderson; three sons, Waymond Fields (Tammy) of Abbeville, Thomas ‘Tombo’ Fields of Lake Secession, and Jackie ‘Goob’ Fields (Angie) of Calhoun Falls; a brother Sammy Scott (Deborah) of Calhoun Falls; five sisters, Diane Bunch (Mike), Jo Beth Crumley, Sherri Keaton (Carzell), Barbara Keaton, and Elizabeth Davis (Frank); two sisters-in-law, Louise Boyce (Gene) and Dot Smith (Carol); eight grandchildren, Matt Fields (Lauren), Laura Beth Fields, Heather Shirley (Brian), Brett Fields, Jodi Fields (Amy), Christopher Fields, Bryce Fields, and Audrey Fields; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Brayden, Mackenzie, Colton, Candace, Carlie, Connor, M.J., Brayleigh, Mason, Chloe, Lexie, Tyler, and Bentley.
The family will receive friends 11:00AM – 12:00PM, Friday, October 6, 2017, at Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
