Emma Harrison eagerly awaited her handmade necklace, with a pendant dangling at the end of it — the color matching her unique getup at Saturday’s second Princess Tea party fundraiser to benefit The Museum.

Dressed in a gown that made her part princess and part mermaid — Ariel from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” specifically, the 6-year-old Hodges resident beamed as the jewelry went over her head.

Smiles like hers abounded at the event, highlighted by the Museum’s Cinderella carriage, built in 1953 for use in a themed show by the Greenwood Federation of Garden Clubs.

Proceeds from Saturday’s function benefit The Museum and Historical Railroad Center.
