Local best selling author speaks at Rotary Meeting

Laura fell in love with writing from an early age and in fact wrote her first book while at a friend’s house when she was about ten years old.

She still has this book which her mother had kept. While her first love was writing books, she realized she needed to first make a living, so after college she focused on journalism. Over several years she worked in numerous cities as a reporter. However, once her second daughter was born, she became a stay-at-home mom and began her fiction-writing career. Since then she has written over 35 novels in both women’s fiction and mysteries.
