The initial drawing for the Greenwood SC Chamber’s $5,000 SuperRaffle will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at Fatz Café.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided, as well as a cash bar and live entertainment by guitarist Josh Manley, starting at 6 p.m.
The chamber is offering a $5000 Super Raffle, with proceeds benefiting its programs and services. Tickets are $50 each. The raffle is a reverse drawing so the last ticket pulled will be the $5,000 winner.
Tickets will be drawn on Oct. 24 down to the last eight tickets.
These ticket holders will be invited to the final drawing at the chamber’s Morning Blend program at 8 a.m. Oct. 31 at the Inn on the Square, where the lucky winning ticket will be drawn.
Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Ticket sales are limited to only 300, so your odds of winning are much better than the lottery.
Consolation prizes will be given out for every 25 tickets pulled. Fifteen businesses have donated consolation prizes, including: The Abbeville Opera House, Belk, Brookdale Greenwood, Coastal Touch, First Citizens Bank, Greenwood Performing Arts, Hardee’s, Hospice Store, Monster Self Storage, Mosquito Authority, NHC HomeCare-Greenwood, Northland Communications, Supercuts, The Purple Door Wellness Spa and Wren Hospice.
The last day to purchase SuperRaffle tickets will be Thursday prior to the drawing.
