Hello from sunny, and rather humid, Florida. This week we are in Sarasota playing at Sara Bay Country Club. This is one of my favorite stops of the year, purely for the golf course. It is a Donald Ross design, so the setup is rather challenging, but I like that. Courses that require really good course management are usually where I excel. I love to have to imagine how the shot needs to be played and this course really works well for that game plan. I haven't been getting the results I've been hoping for this year, but I feel like I'm playing really well. It's just a couple of shots here and there that are costing me. I have a great feeling about this week as I think the golf course really works in my favor and it's only matter of time before the results start to show.

I am staying with the same host family as last year, which is great as they are lovely people. They are very hospitable and make feel at home. I always love the Sarasota area, particularly for the beaches. It reminds me a little bit of home, which is very comforting. I'm not in the Pro-Am this week, so I will have enough time to make it to the beach and dip my feet the warm ocean. Depending on my tee times, I'm hoping to make it to the beach more than once. Thankfully, my host family also has a pool so I will be able to use that to cool off after my rounds.

After a couple of weeks on the road, I decided a massage was necessary this week too. With the amount of travel, working out and playing golf we do, it is essential that we take care of our bodies with physical therapy and massages.

Other than that, I don't have too much planned this week. With it being so hot and humid, it's going to be important that I don't spend much more time outside than I have to. It's very hard to take in enough water to keep dehydration at bay, so it's probably smart to stay inside. I will fit in a couple of workouts here and there, but again it's important not to overdo that either.

It's only a couple more weeks before we make our stop in Greenwood. I absolutely can't wait to get there as it is definitely one of our most organized events and we are treated so well. I hope you are all as excited as we are.
