MCCORMICK -- Hildreth “Hilda” Sibert Perrin, 61, resident of 841 Christian Road, wife of Benjamin A. Perrin, passed away June 6, 2017, at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born May 10, 1956, in McCormick, she was a daughter of Thelma C. Williams Sibert and the late Harvey L. Sibert. She was a 1974 graduate of McCormick High School and a 1978 graduate of Piedmont Technical College. Mrs. Perrin was retired as a community health educator from the American Cancer Society with whom she had been employed for 22 years and in many different positions.

She was a member of Shiloh African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 37 years of the home and her mother of McCormick are a daughter, Edwina D. Perrin of Simpsonville; a son, Lyndale and wife Nakisha Perrin of Columbia; a sister, Cornelia and husband Leroy Calhoun of McCormick; four grandchildren, Onterio D. Jones, Kiara D. Letman, Kendall A. Perrin and Kamron N. Perrin; and a niece, Shera Jackson of McCormick.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Shiloh A.M.E. Church with Rev. Vivian Edwards presiding, along with Rev. Paul N. Wharton preaching and others assisting including, Rev. James Louden, III, Rev. Waymon Coleman, III and Dr. Vardry Freeman. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Classmates, Friends and Family.

The family is at the home in McCormick and will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home in Greenwood from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening.

The body will be placed in the church at  noon Friday.
