Henrietta Norman, 77, widow of Jack Norman Jr., formally of 334 Pinehurst Drive, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019, White Oak Manor in Newberry, SC. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Bob “Bosey” Dawson and Irma Lee Wells Turner. She retired from Greenwood School District 50 as a bus driver and she was a member of Kingdom Hall.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda Jean Brown and Cassandra Holloway; three sisters, Louvenia Turner, Ruby May Turner and Mary Alice Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Robert Holloway, Jr., of Columbia, SC, and Anson (Beth Brewton) Holloway, of Greenwood; one daughter Teresa Ann Whitman, of Columbia; four brothers, Rufus(Paulette) Turner, of Promised Land, Steve (Elaine) Turner, of Greenwood, Issac (JoAnn) Turner, of Callison and William Turner, of Detroit, MI, four sisters, Helen A. Lanier, Rosa Lee (James M.) Tolbert, both of Greenwood, Florence Harrison, of Charlotte, NC, and Montrese Stephens, of Promised Land; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, at 1 p.m. and burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
