Randy Royrique Parks, 35, of 6957 Riverfolk Road, Waterloo was arrested Tuesday and charged with armed robbery, failure to stop for blue light and possession of a weapon during commission of a crime.

On June 16, Greenwood police went to the Lil’ Cricket at 1208 Bypass 72 NE where a store clerk said she was robbed at gunpoint, according to a report.

She told officers she was in the employee office when she saw a man enter the store wearing a hoodie and covering his face with a scarf.

The man shouted to the clerk, pulled out a black revolver and told her to give him money, the report said. She told police she gave him money from the register, then went back to the office as the man left running to a white SUV and driving in the direction of NewSpring.

The clerk described the man for police, and a manager came to show officers the security video, the report said. Officers began searching for a vehicle that matched the one the robber left in, the report said.
