A former McCormick prison correctional officer was arrested Friday after allegations surfaced she had a personal relationship with an inmate, according to a warrant.
Bianca Davis, 28, of Lincolnton, Georgia was charged with misconduct in office and was served the arrest warrant on Friday.
She was fired following her arrest, said a news release from the state Department of Corrections.
Between May 1 and June 2, Davis sent nude pictures to an inmate through a contraband cellphone, the warrant said. Pictures and messages were found through a warranted search of her Facebook account as well.
“There were messages about how she could get contraband through the machine at the front gate,” the warrant said. “Numerous messages were sent between Davis and (redacted) expressing how much they love each other.”
A booking photo of Davis was not immediately available.
