Two men are facing drug charges after officers served search warrants on a Greenwood property, according to a report.

At about 6 a.m. Saturday, Greenwood police went to a Gray Street residence to serve a search warrant and found two men sitting in a car in the yard, the report said. Officers detained the two men, along with people inside the house, in order to conduct their search.

Officers found multiple substances in the car that tested positive for cocaine, and inside the house found a total of nearly 30 grams of various substances, some of which were believed to be crack, marijuana and methamphetamine, the report said. Officers also found pills, $250 in cash, a digital scale and a marijuana grinder.

Donald Edward Brown, 59, of 927 Taggart St., Greenwood and Ricky Lee Grant, 37, of 323 Gray St., Greenwood were arrested in connection with this case. Brown was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of crack cocaine, while Grant was charged with distribution/possession with intent to distribute meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and trafficking crack, 10 grams or more.
