A Greenwood police officer patrolling Sunday afternoon in the area of Phoenix Street smelled marijuana from a vehicle he was driving behind, according to a report.
When the officer pulled the vehicle over and spoke with the driver and her passenger, he noted the smell of marijuana was even stronger.
Both people denied there being any marijuana in the car, but while searching it the officer found a partially smoked blunt on the floorboard, the report said.
While searching the man, the officer found two plastic bags of marijuana hidden in his pants, and the woman said the drugs were hers, along with a digital scale she was hiding in her pants.

Wright was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, resisting arrest, false name and/or date of birth, driving under suspension and a bench warrant. Parker was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
