A Greenwood woman is facing charges after law enforcement learned she talked about wearing a bomb to court.
Danielle Leigh Balasty, 36, of 3303 County Farm Road, Greenwood was arrested Friday and charged with conveying a bomb threat and two counts of threatening the life of a public official.
On Oct. 23, 2017, Greenwood County deputies learned that a woman was upset about a court case she was part of, and had said she should wear a bomb to court and detonate it, the report said.
She had also said she was going to get revenge on the officers who had arrested her.
Courthouse officers were told about her statements, and were told to screen her when she appeared for court.
