When a tipster called police saying that a man was distributing oxycodone on Plowden Avenue, officers got a search warrant and went to find the man, according to a report.

Larry Donnell Elmore, 58, of 666 Gage St., Greenwood was arrested Thursday and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Officers served the search warrant at about 7:20 p.m. Thursday, and the man living at the Plowden Avenue address officers had been given admitted to having illegal drugs in the residence, the report said.

The man led officers through the house, pointing them to a jar of pills that was hidden in a roll of tape. The jar, police noted, contained blue pills, as did a plastic bag officers found.

Overall, officers reported finding about 200 pills, a substance thought to be marijuana in multiple baggies and more than $3,000 in cash.
