Two Greenwood men are being accused of working together to bring contraband into the state prison system through the department’s Walden Prison Farm in Richland County, according to a news release from the state Department of Corrections.
Jasmine Odessa Isom, 32, and Tremayne Daryl Isom, 37, are charged with criminal conspiracy. Jasmine Isom is also charged with attempting to introduce contraband into a prison.
On Monday, at the rear entrance to the Walden Farm, Jasmine Isom conspired with Tremayne Isom to introduce a package of contraband to the prison, according to a warrant. She conspired to be driven to a drop-off point to leave the contraband package, which contained 15 packages of Top rolling papers, a 1-2 pack of black electrical tape and three packages of AK-46 herbal incense, which is believed to be synthetic marijuana.
