A 19-year-old man was charged with murder Friday after Laurens police found someone dead at the scene of a shooting, according to a news release from the Laurens Police Department.

An 11th person has pleaded guilty in connection to what authorities described as a top-level drug ring with Greenwood ties that bought fentanyl and other drugs from Mexico and operated stash houses in Laurens County.

After facing recent attempted murder and armed robbery charges, a Greenwood man has been arrested again, this time in connection with the December robberies at Papa T’s Liquor and at a bank ATM.
