AAMC reports four new COVID-19 cases

Abbeville Area Medical Center (AAMC)

As of 4 p.m. Monday, Abbeville Area Medical Center announced four new positive results from COVID-19 testing.

In a news release, AAMC said the hospital's staff had completed a total of 179 tests, with 143 coming back negative and 24 pending.

Of the hospital's current positive results, 9 cases are from Abbeville County with one from an unknown county, the release said.



Greenwood CPW is set to end its temporary policy of not disconnecting service because of lack of payment. This policy will end June 8.

The South Carolina High School League sent a memo to member schools Thursday afternoon informing them that summer workouts for fall sports will be allowed.
