Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a wreck Friday morning in Uptown, according to police.
Three vehicles collided during morning traffic at the intersection of Main Street and Maxwell Avenue, Greenwood Police Department Capt. Mitchell McAllister said. Two pickup trucks and an SUV were involved in the wreck, and McAllister said witnesses told police one of the vehicles ran the stoplight, triggering the collision.
Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment, and McAllister said he didn't know their conditions.
Police were working to divert traffic around the wreck, while tow trucks arrived to clear the area.
