severe weather

Isolated flooding is possible as the Lakelands could see close to an inch of rain today, according to the National Weather Service.

The government forecasting agency says the area will experience patchy fog and could feel wind gusts of up to 28 mph as showers and possible thunderstorms move across the Upstate.

"Heavy rainfall is possible through early afternoon, creating the potential for isolated flooding," the service said in issuing a hazardous weather outlook.
