MRS. JAMES ANTHONY DALY IV Olivia Anne Warner

Miss Olivia Anne Warner and Mr. James Anthony Daly IV were united in marriage at six o’clock in the evening on May 18, 2019 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, South Carolina. The Reverend Spears Alexander and The Reverend Doctor Chris Leonard of Greenwood officiated the ceremony.

Music was presented by Mrs. Leigh L. Gambrell, pianist, Mr. Albert Cowan Gambrell, III, organist, both of Greenwood, Mr. David Lee McLeod, bagpiper, of Greenwood, vocalists Mr. William Ray Oates of Easley, SC, and Miss Jillian Lynne Oates of Atlanta, GA, and guitarist Mr. William Justin Oates of Braselton, GA.

The bride is the daughter of Doctor and Mrs. Bret James Warner of Greenwood, SC.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lannie Lee Brown of Troutman, NC, and the late Mrs. Jeanette Marie Warner of Kannapolis, NC, and the late Mr. William Franklin Warner of Mount Gilead, NC.

Olivia is a 2015 cum laude graduate of Wofford College, with a Bachelors Degree in English and a minor in Economics. She is a 2019 graduate from Mercer University School of Law, with a Juris Doctor and has accepted a position with Parker Poe Adams and Bernstein LLP in Greenville, SC.

The groom is the son of Doctor and Mrs. James Anthony Daly III of Savannah, GA.

James is the grandson of Mrs. Mildred Brown Walker and the late Mr. James Montgomery Walker of Savannah, GA, and Mrs. Margaret Hendrix Daly and the late Mr. James Anthony Daly, Jr, of Savannah, GA.

He is a 2015 graduate of Wofford College, with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Business Economics.

James and his brother own Daly Organics, an organics recycling company operated out of Hardeeville, SC.

Maid of honor was Miss Emily Bret Warner of Charleston, SC, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Miss Kate Daly of Savannah, GA, and Miss Louisa Daly of Savannah, GA, sisters of the groom, Miss Graham Chapman of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Miss Mary Collins Halligan of Charlotte, NC, Miss Elizabeth Hughes of Austin, TX, Miss Emily Mungo of Charleston, SC, and Miss Elizabeth Satterwhite of Greenville, SC, college friends of the bride, and Miss Jillian Oates of Atlanta, GA, cousin of the bride

Honorary attendants were Mrs. Lelia Ayers of Washington, DC, and Miss Lucy Britt Stadler of Washington, DC, college friends of the bride, and Miss Rylee Dillard of Charlotte, NC, and Miss Kathleen Watkins of Atlanta, GA, childhood friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Miss Elizabeth Lake Daly Carbo of Savannah, GA, niece of the groom and Miss Kendall Elizabeth Oates of Braselton, GA, cousin of the bride.

The bride wore an elegant Pronovias bridal gown in ivory designed by Herve Moreau for their Atelier collection, featuring a drop waist and extended train in Josephine brocade. The gown brought a balance of styles with the classic fabric and modern mermaid silhouette. The figure flattering bodice with bateau neckline featured delicate straps that met in a deep V and trailed with buttons down the back of the gown. The dress was paired with an Edward Berger cathedral veil edged with Shiffli lace.

The bride carried a lush, hand-tied bouquet of white garden roses, ranunculus, and spray roses with organic elements of spirea, jasmine vine, camellia foliage, sweet peas, eucalyptus, and delicate fern accents all sourced from local upstate SC farms or American growers. Pearl accents from her mother’s bridal veil wrapped the stems.

Best Man was Mr. Madison Walker Daly of Savannah, GA, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Mr. Thomas Barrow of Athens, GA, Mr. Taylor Miller of Savannah, GA, Mr. Zachary Proveaux of Newnan, GA, and Mr. Kevin VonWaldner of Savannah, GA, childhood friends of the groom, Mr. Hayes Lanford of Charleston, SC, Mr. Jackson Keith III of Charleston, SC, and Mr. Cory Taylor of Greenville, SC, college friends of the groom, and Mr. Aidan Warner of Charleston, SC, brother of the bride.

A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents, Doctor and Mrs. James Anthony Daly III, was given in celebration of Olivia and James at the Sundance Gallery on Friday, May 17th in Greenwood, SC.

A reception was held at the Greenwood Country Club and was hosted by Doctor and Mrs. Bret James Warner, parents of the bride.

Event design and coordination was provided by Laura Katherine McCallum of Callie Weddings & Events and ceremony direction was provided by Mrs. Nancy Griffin Dozier, both of Greenwood, SC. Bridal portraits and wedding photography was provided by Trinity Street Photography of Abbeville, SC. Floral Design was provided by Urban Petals of Greer, SC.

The couple will reside in Greenville, SC.
