Kelsey Nicole Goff, daughter of Randy and Cynthia Goff, of Greenwood, SC, and Zachary Harrison Forrest, son of Brian Forrest and Robin Forrest, of Duncan, SC, were married on April 27th, 2019 at 5 o’clock in the evening in Greenwood, SC, in the Sundance Gallery’s Courtyard by Rev. Heather Reit.
Kelsey wore a vintage inspired wedding gown designed by Wilderly Allure Bridals, with intricate eyelash lace and soft chiffon. The gown had a sophisticated boat neckline, scooped low back, and long lace sleeves, which she paired with a delicate and simple silk tulle chapel-length veil. The bride held a hand-tied wildflower bouquet full of the bride’s favorite flowers, including ranunculus, anemone, bud roses, feverfew, heather, and fern wrapped in navy velvet ribbon and ivory silk ribbon.
The maid of honor was the bride’s younger sister, Miss Haley Brooke Goff of Columbia, SC. Dr. Hannah Rustin of Murrells Inlet, Mrs. Jessi Gifford, of Ridgeway, SC, Mrs. Blair Kemp, of Greer, SC, and Miss Anna Coward, of Columbia, SC, were bridesmaids. They each wore light mauve pink dresses in varying complimenting styles. Their bouquets complimented the brides wildflower inspired hand-tied bouquet.
The flower girls were Peyton Hudson, Aurelia Meares, and Cora Boone. The bride was a nanny to all three girls, before beginning teaching in Columbia, SC. They wore little blue dresses with a wildflower print.
The groom wore a navy blue velvet dinner jacket, black satin bow tie, and complimenting black tuxedo pants paired with a ranunculus boutonniere.
The groom’s best man was Dr. Jordan Dunning, of Spartanburg, SC. Matthew Goff, of Greenwood, SC, and Tyler Goff, of Knoxville, TN, both older brothers of the bride, were groomsmen, as well as Leo Burnett, of Houston, TX, and Kevin Geopp, of Seattle, WA. They wore black tuxedos, with black satin bow ties, paired with complimenting boutonnieres.
The junior groomsman was Keagan Goff. The ring bearers were Kaleb Goff and Thatcher Goff. All three of the boys are the brides’ nephews. They wore white long-sleeve dress shirts, black bow ties and suspenders, with storm blue pants.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s mother, Robin Forrest at the Inn on the Square on Friday, April 26th.
The reception was hosted by the bride’s parents, Randy and Cynthia Goff, at the Sundance Gallery, catered by Inn on the Square, following the ceremony in the courtyard.
The bride, Kelsey, is the granddaughter of Sue K. Smith of Greenwood, SC, the late C. Danny Smith of Greenwood, SC, and the late Hewie L. and Evelyn L. Goff of Troy, SC.
Kelsey graduated from Ninety Six High School in 2008 and graduated from the University of South Carolina, with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education in 2012.
Kelsey is an Early Intervention Specialist at Epworth Children’s Home in Columbia, SC.
The groom, Zach, is the grandson of the late Ann Forrest of Greenville, SC, and the late Rusty and Roberta Spratlin of Irmo, SC.
He graduated from Byrnes High School in Spartanburg, SC, in 2008 and graduated from the University of South Carolina, with a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship in 2012.
Zachary is the Principal of Software Engineering Lead at Halfaker, Inc.
Following their wedding in April, Kelsey and Zach, enjoyed honeymooning in Jamaica and recently moved to Hendersonville, NC.
