Post 20 donates to the Humane Society of Greenwood

American Legion Post 20 visited the Humane Society of Greenwood on Sept. 9 and was given a detailed tour by Operations Manager Connie Mawyer.

Not only were members given a detailed and operational tour, but a great outline on their needs, problems, and issues during the COVID-19 environment, especially in volunteers.

After the tour, American Legion Post 20 Commander Al White presented a cash donation to the Humane Society. This is only the beginning as the Post continues its charity and volunteer work for the community.

The Humane Society of Greenwood is a not-for-profit animal welfare agency comprised of staff and volunteers. It is supported by donations and funding from Greenwood County and American Legion Post 20 is honored to help this great organization and its dedicated staff and volunteers.
