State Rep. John McCravy honored two retired state Department of Natural Resources officers, Stanley Davis and Danny Berry, for more than 20 years of service.
Davis and Berry retired after serving with distinction for 27 years in the Greenwood and Lakelands area. They dedicated a majority of their lives to keeping the community safe and preserving South Carolina’s natural resources.
McCravy thanked these retired officers for their many sacrifices throughout their years of service. “You both have done so much for our community because you genuinely care. You have often sacrificed spending time with your families and greatly deserve to be recognized,” McCravy stated before handing each retired officer a certificate of commendation from the South Carolina House of Representatives.
McCravy invites all retired law enforcement and first responding departments in Greenwood County who have served for 20 years to contact him so he can officially recognize them.
