Camp Fellowship

Program Description:

Camp Fellowship is a Christian summer camp located along the shores of Lake Greenwood, SC since 1948.  We offer day camp and residential camp experiences for children and youth in grades K-12. Traditional camp experiences are available, as well as specialty camps that include: art camp, drama camp, night owls, wind & water, high adventure, base camp adventure, Leader In Training, and a Scavenger Hunt/Puzzle Camp.

Westside Summer Youth Camp

Program Description: 

This is a 7 week camp which provides our youth an opportunity during the summer months to explore Greenwood by way of field trips and maintain learning that took place during the school year in language arts, math, and science. This camp is also a safe haven for our children that  parents really appreciate.  The camp has been in operation every summer since 2013.  We are proud to have certified teachers on the faculty, as well as security during the children’s stay with us.  Campers are provided with breakfast, lunch and a snack.  Lots of activities have already been planned for this summer’s adventure. There is just too much to say.....come by and talk to the directors to see if this is a great fit for your child/ren.  Several Greenwood businesses and area churches are also partners with the camp.

Program Description: The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, and even The Grinch

all jump from the pages of Dr.Seuss’s vast library on to our stage for our Festival of Flowers production of Seussical the Musical and our exciting “Seussical Summer Spectacular” summer camp. During the week campers will participate in age-appropriate crafts and activities related to creative and performing arts. As well as meet characters from the show, and learn about what it takes to put on our biggest show of the year. Campers will be invited to perform on stage with the cast of Seussical the Musical during the Friday night performance.

 

101 Dalmations Performance Camp

Program Description:  Our production camps immerse the campers in all aspects of producing a musical, from designing the set, props, and costumes to learning the music, blocking , and choreography. After two weeks of hard work the campers will have two public performances for the community of 101 Dalmatians. This camp is excellent for experienced performers and for children that have always wanted to participate in a show. Each camper will receive two complimentary tickets to the show. Snacks provided. Performances will take place on July 20.

Program Description: Each day we will focus on one design area so that your student can learn what goes into designing and building for the stage. There will be a lecture portion during the day, then the majority of the day will be spent in a hands-on learning environment. We will be painting, working with saws and tools, building and crafting.

The week-long workshop will culminate in a TECH OLYMPICS style event where the students will show off the skills they have learned.

Program Description: Children ages 4 and up are invited to The Peaceable Kingdom VBS where they will be immersed in a Seussical wonderland. Children will learn about God’s peaceable kingdom (Isaiah 11:6) where there is no place for bullying. They will study bible stories and picture-book stories about love, empathy, mercy, and forgiveness, as well as enjoy singing, drama, recreation, and crafts.  One snack per day will be provided.
