Countybank announced the promotion of Rufus Thornwell “Wells” Dunlap, V, from assistant vice president to vice president in officer status.
Dunlap joined Countybank in 2013, and earlier this year transitioned to the role of Commercial Relationship Manager, where he has focused on developing new business relationships in the Greenwood market. He is currently the CRA officer for Countybank and previously served as commercial credit analyst, where he was responsible for underwriting various credit requests and handling various portfolio administration activities for the bank.
Dunlap holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Presbyterian College, has completed Leadership Greenwood and the South Carolina Bankers School, and is currently being enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He is a member of the Greenwood Rotary Club and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greenwood County Community Foundation, the Greenwood Museum, Community Initiatives, and the South Carolina Young Banker’s Association.
