ABOVE: Frank Sinatra might have been the original Ol’ Blue Eyes, but once you meet Horace, that nickname will bring to mind this handsome canine instead. He’s a 2-year-old Catahoula mix with unique coloring — a light-and-dark brown merle pattern with big splashes of white, especially on his face. And those eyes — you simply can’t ignore those amazing ice blue eyes. Horace is a young dog, so he isn’t short on energy and would love to be able to take lots of long walks. He especially enjoys the company of people and wants nothing more than to find a new forever home he can call his own. BELOW: If you needed just one phrase to describe Buster, happy-go-lucky would be a good one. He is simply one happy cat. He loves to play and cuddle, and one of his favorite things to do is pretend any human who holds him is his own personal cat tree. He wants to get up as high as he can, so he can look into your eyes and rub against your face. Buster is, without a doubt, one of the most endearing felines you will ever meet. And with his coal black coat and huge golden-yellow eyes, this 8-month-old cat is just as handsome as he is sweet. The adoption fees are generously sponsored by Lonza for both featured pets through Saturday. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the HSOG Adoption Center located at 2820 Airport Road, Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., or online at gwdhumanesociety.org.
