I am offended by Don Hiers' recent guest view column.
If he truly believes in God, he should know that the soul of the dead body is already gone. The human body is nothing but a shell. I decided a very long time ago that my remains would be cremated, and that my survivors would have a celebration in my honor on the day of my "sprinkling".
This is not pagan, and Hiers' view should not be afforded credit. And I am sure that God himself did not come to bury Moses. That was done by human people. Hiers needs to take account of his own life, and leave the rest of us alone to make the right decisions for our families.
