James McTyeire “Tye” Baldwin
James McTyeire “Tye” Baldwin, 20, resident of Parkland Place Road, died January 20, 2014 at Hospice House.
Born in Greenwood, November 23, 1993, he was the son of William Randall “Randy” and Helena Geney Baldwin. He was a member of the Greenwood High School 2011 graduating class and attended Piedmont Technical College.
He was a member of New Spring Church of Greenwood and was a member of the SC Youth Bowling League. He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman.
Surviving in addition to his parents of the home are his paternal grandparents, Buddy and June Baldwin of Greenwood; maternal grandfather, David Geney and wife Marion of Waterloo; grandparents, Jim and Faith Bell of West Virginia; a step-brother, Brandon Taylor of the home; a step sister, Jennifer (Andy) King of Duncan, SC; two aunts, Lynn (Ron) Sparks of Seneca, Christie (Steve) Richitelli of Waterloo; an uncle, David (Mary Ann) Geney of Pawleys Island; a great-aunt, Idalyn Spooner of Greenwood; two special cousins, Adeline (Richard) Johnson of Virginia and Christine (Charlie) Miller of Waterloo and numerous other cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at the home on Parkland Place Road at 4 p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Matt Alley and Rev. Bobby Gilbert officiating. There will be a private burial.
The family is at the home at 1208 Parkland Place Road and will gladly receive friends from now until the time of the service.
