McCORMICK — Rosemary Knuycky, 80, of 408 Washington, Street, McCormick, SC, wife of Nick Knuycky, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family at 8:45a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born in Philip, South Dakota January 4, 1933, the daughter of Loretta H. Kimball and the late William Haberly.
Mrs. Knuycky was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School in Virginia and was retired from Ft. Belvoir, Virginia as a government employee. She was a member of McCormick United Methodist Church. Rosemary was diagnosed with liver cancer June 10, 2013.
Surviving Mrs. Knuycky is her husband of 62 years of the home; her 98 year old mother, Loretta; two sons, Nicholas Michael Knuycky and Kenneth James Knuycky; two grandchildren, Chantelle and Chris Knuycky; a great-grandson, Jackson; two brothers, Richard and Edward Haberly; two sisters, Rita Kimball and Susan Haberly and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rosemary will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the McCormick United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Paul Wood, Jr. officiating.
