NINETY SIX -- Pearly Ruth Sullivan,  74, of 705 Julian Road, Ninety Six, SC passed away on July 10, 2014 at her home.
She was born in Greenwood, South Carolina December 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Davis Williams, Sr. and Evelyn Williams Williams.
She was a member of Mt Moriah Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and faithfully attended Sunday School. She was a member of Women’s Aid Society No.12 and she retired from Greenwood Mills after several years of service
Surviving are three daughters, Valerie Oliphant (Roosevelt, Jr.) of Ninety Six, SC, Trudie Sullivan of Pensacola, Florida and Diane Gary (James) of Rockville, MD ; two sisters, Rev. Lohana Mosley of Greenwood, SC, and Annie Doris Ruff of Ninety Six, SC; three grandchildren, Xavier Oliphant of Greenville, SC, Kiara Oliphant of Ninety Six, SC, Carter Gary of Rockville, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Mt Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Adams officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The body will be placed in the church at noon.
Pallbearers will be Travis Ruff, Jimmy Ruff, Jr. Tydrkus Deal, Dexter Norman, Odell Norman, Jr. and Franklin Mosley, Jr.
Flower bearers will be Women’s Aid Society No. 12.
Honorary Escort will be Brewer High School Class of 1959.
The family is at the home of her daughter,  Mrs. Valerie Oliphant, 709 Julian Road, Ninety Six, SC.
