BRADLEY — Linda Faye Hill Johnson, 58, of 401 Boulware Drive, wife of Willie James Johnson, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the HospiceCare of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Willie Hill, Jr. and the late Rebecca Turner Hill. She was formerly employed with Greenwood Mills No. 5 and retired from Kemet Electric. She was a member of Glover's Chapel Baptist Church, where she served as an Usher, Missionary and was a former choir member. She was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Fred Hill.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of the home; two daughters, Courtney (Richard) Johnson Parks of Greenwood and Regency Morrell (Wilfred Piton) Johnson of New London, Connecticut; three brothers, John (Effie) Henry Hill and Raymond (Betty) Hill, both of the Promised Land and Jesse Allen (Mary) Hill of Greenwood; five sisters, Carrie Lee Wright and Elease Hill, both of the Promised Land Community, Christine (Tony) Morton, Gertrude Howzell and Dolly (William) Turman, all of Greenwood; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services are 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Glover's Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Charles Boyce. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.
