PLUM BRANCH — Demetric Cordell Lomax, 27, of 140 Serpentine Drive, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of William Henry Lomax and Harriet Williams Lomax. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, employed by Flexible Technologies and a member of Showstoppers Motorcycle Club.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother of the home; his father of McCormick; two brothers, William Turman of Greenwood and Detrick Lomax of the home; three sisters, Shanice Lomax of Greenwood; Demeka (Tatlain) Brown of Abbeville and Daysha Harris of McCormick; one nephew raised in the home, London Franklin of Wisconsin.
Services will be held Friday, April 18, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, with Rev. R.C. Oglesby officiating, the body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church Cemetery in McCormick. The family is at the home of his sister Shanice Lomax, 500 Pampas Drive, Apt 513, in Greenwood. Arrangements are provided by Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.
