Two Abbeville suspects sought in a September burglary were captured during the weekend, according to a news release issued Monday morning by the Abbeville County Sheriff's Office.
Malcolm Moss, 23, of 506 Branch St., was arrested Saturday and Christopher Washington, 24, of 140 Dutchman Road, was captured Thursday. Both men were charged with second-degree burglary (non-violent), petit larceny, malicious injury to real property and criminal conspiracy in connection with the incident.
The men were wanted in connection with a Sept. 10 Abbeville County burglary that occurred at an Iva residence in the 1200 block of Keowee Road. An Abbeville police officer spotted Washington shopping at Greenwood's Walmart on Thursday and notified ACSO officials. Greenwood County deputies subsequently took that suspect into custody. Moss turned himself in to Abbeville police without incident two days later.
