Three people were arrested Friday when Greenwood Drug Enforcement Unit agents went to serve an arrest warrant in the Fairforest neighborhood.
April Fuller, 31, of 203 Brooks Stuart Drive A, Greenwood, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and Henry Buchanan, 32, of 302 Island Ford Road, Ninety Six, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, petit larceny, possession of crack cocaine and possession of ephedrine in an altered state in connection with the incident. Bobbie Jones, 26, of 1231 Ninety Six Highway, Greenwood, was booked on prior warrants for possession of ephedrine in an altered state and narcotics violations during the arrest.
Agents from the county's drug enforcement task force went to the residence to serve warrants on Jones. There reportedly were four children under the age of 11 inside the residence when officers arrived. According to a Greenwood County Sheriff's Office incident report:
Agents found a set of digital scales and powdery substances that tested positive for meth and ephedrine in the home. Buchanan said the items belonged to him. Officers then searched a car parked in the driveway and found meth in the vehicle. Fuller said that batch was for her personal use.
The children were released to the custody of a woman who remained at the scene.
