A third Anderson County teenager was arrested during the weekend in reference to a burglary of a Due West home earlier this month.
Jaylon Burton, 18, of 108 Hazelwood Ave., Anderson, was apprehended Sunday and charged with first-degree burglary, petit larceny and malicious injury to real property in connection with the March 1 incident.
Jonathan Smith and Roymad McDaniel, both 17 and of Anderson, were arrested prior to Burton's Sunday arrest in connection with the crime.
The charges stem from a burglary reported at a residence along Mount Lebanon Road in Due West. According to an Abbeville County incident report:
The victim told officers thieves ransacked their home, busted a side door to the residence and stole several items, including a 32-inch television, a camera and $655 worth of checks, cash and coins.
