A second suspect was arrested Monday in connection with an attempted copper theft in Kathwood earlier this year.
Breanna Harvley, 20, 0f 1425 Brickyard Road, Ninety Six, faces a charge of second-degree burglary stemming from the Feb. 13 incident.
Records indicate James Ardis, 35, of Waterloo, was arrested at the scene of the attempted theft and booked on four drug and burglary charges in connection with the incident.
According to a city police report, officers arrived to the home on Kathwood Drive and found the female suspect sitting in the driver's seat of a car parked outside the residence. The male suspect was located outside the home covered in mud. He admitted to cutting wire out from underneath the house. Officers also found mud-soaked tools used to carry out the burglary.
