Two people were arrested following a drug raid Thursday night in Mathews Mill Village.
Nikita Cross, 27, and Steven Moore, 32, both of 623 Grier St., face charges stemming from alleged drug activity at the residence. Cross was charged with distribution of marijuana, and Moore was booked on a count of possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams or less of hashish in connection with the drug bust.
Both suspects were in the home at the time of the raid, according to investigators. Officers conducted an undercover drug buy at the pair's home Tuesday and surveilled the female suspect selling a small amount of suspected marijuana to an informant. Investigators said she was arrested in connection with warrants which stemmed from that controlled buy. According to a city police report:
The county drug enforcement task force obtained a search warrant on the home and executed that warrant Thursday night. When agents entered the residence, the male suspect held up four bags containing a substance thought to be marijuana. Inside the home, officers found a digital scale, about 163 grams of the suspected drug, as well as $324 in cash on one of the suspects.
