One charged in Georgetown Apartments shooting

One suspect was arrested following a shooting that occurred at Georgetown Apartments in Greenwood late Wednesday afternoon.
Keyon Wilson, 18, of 104 Singletree Road, Greenwood, was charged with breach of peace aggravated in nature in connection with the incident.
Jail records indicate Wilson was taken into custody Wednesday night. The Greenwood County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting, which took place about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators were dispatched to the apartment complex on East Northside Drive in reference to reports of gunshots fired. Officers found two shell casings at the scene and indicated as many as 10 shots rang out during the incident. No one appeared to have been hit or injured during the shooting.
Investigators said the shooting stemmed from a dispute between two rival groups, which led to a confrontation at the apartment complex. GCSO officials said the investigation is ongoing, and indicated more charges and arrests could come.
