One man was arrested after Greenwood County narcotics officer executed a search warrant Tuesday night.
Ditravius Rappley, 19, of 1840 Montague Ave. Extension, Greenwood, was charged with possession of a stolen pistol in connection with the incident. He was also booked on a prior warrant for distribution of marijuana.
Agents from the county's Drug Enforcement Unit raided the suspect's home and found nine people, including the suspect and a 5-year-old boy inside.
According to a Greenwood County incident report:
Agents found two scales and a handgun, which was confirmed to be stolen out of Los Angeles, inside the residence. In the same room where the handgun was located, officers also found a debit card with the suspect's name on it, and located letters with his name addressed from a state prison inmate underneath a bed mattress.
The suspect told officers, "the stolen gun isn't mine," even before officers began asking questions about where the weapon came from.
