A Greenwood man was arrested Tuesday morning about one month after narcotics agents found several ounces of drugs at his home.
Reggie Turman, 34, of 112 Anderson Drive, was charged with possession of other substance in schedule I, II, III with intent to distribute in connection with the incident.
Agents from the county's Drug Enforcement Unit came to the suspect's home on the outskirts of Chinquapin on June 18, after receiving complaints about cocaine and marijuana being sold at the residence. According to a Greenwood County incident report:
The suspect told officers he did not have any cocaine, but admitted there was marijuana at the home and gave agents permission to search the premises. Agents found two ounces of a substance believed to be marijuana in his pants pocket and 67 more grams of suspected pot after searching his home and an SUV parked at the house. Officers also found two sets of digital scales, 50 valium pills and12 hydrocodone pills.
