A domestic dispute led to one Greenwood man's arrest on drug charges Wednesday morning.
Cedric Adams, 26, of 710 Sidney Drive, was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a stolen pistol, possession of marijana and driving under suspension in connection with the incident.
Greenwood County deputies responded to reports of an argument between the suspect and a woman along Sleepy Hollow Road near the Country Homes subdivision. According to a Greenwood County incident report, officers arrested the suspect after being advised the driver's license was suspended. Deputies searched the vehicle and found 20.4 grams of cocaine packed in three bags, a 9mm handgun loaded with 10 rounds and 23.4 grams of a substance the suspect identified as marijuana. Officers ran the gun's serial number through a federal database and learned it was reported stolen from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Officers questioned the suspect and he gave a full confession to possessing the drugs and gun, and even gave precise measurements of each package of narcotics deputies found. He told officers he always knows the weight he carries in illegal drugs.
