Police arrested a man Monday following an attack at Park Plaza in Uptown Greenwood.
Kevon Seigler, 22, of 3423 Rockhouse Road, Bradley, was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, probation violation and resisting arrest in connection with the incident.
Greenwood police responded to the Park Plaza building, 600 Monument St, after several employees at the complex reported the bloodied victim screaming for help. Officers arrived and found the woman bleeding heavily from her mouth.
The victim told police a suspect had followed her all day and then accosted her at the complex, where he punched her in the center of the chest with the sharp end of a key, and head butted her in the mouth. Officers noted the woman had a hard time speaking because several of her teeth had been knocked loose or were missing. When questioned, the man told police, "I grabbed her arm and pulled her, and she fell into my forehead."
