ABBEVILLE -- Perfect PASS scores were on the agenda at the Abbeville County School District board of trustee meeting Tuesday evening.

Assistant superintendent Betty Jo Hall recognized 30 students from across the district who achieved a perfect score on at least one of the Palmetto assessments. Also recognized were the eight schools in the district that received Palmetto Gold Awards. All eligible schools received the honor. Hall also recognized Roni Scott, the district’s finance director for receiving certification as a school business official. Additionally, former superintendent Ivan Randolph was recognized for being appointed to serve on the state board of education.

"We’re very appreciative of Dr. Randolph as he continues to be a champion for children," Hall said.
