Greenwood County narcotics officers arrested four more people Wednesday during another meth bust in Greenwood County.
Authorities booked Amber Smith, 32, of 104 Cessna Ave., Shelby Culbertson, 39, of 213 Georgia Ave., Edward Lyle Ouzts, 45, of 213 Georgia Ave., and Russell Skidmore, 33, of 105 Mabrey Court. Officials said they charged all four Greenwood suspects with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine (ice) and possession with intent to distribute marijuana in connection with the incident.

The raid marked the seventh meth-related bust this month. Since July 2, agents from the multi-jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a total of 18 people and seized more than 4,300 grams of the drug. Wednesday’s search accounted for the second consecutive discovery of “ice,” the crystallized version of meth.
“I have some special agents working in my unit that do a great job and go the extra mile,” DEU Commander Brandon Strickland said. “They work long hours and never complain. They make me and the unit look good, and they should be commended.”
