Anyone who is considering sending their kids to any of the summer camps at the Arts Center of Greenwood, Greenwood Community Theatre or The Museum can get a sneak peek of the programs Saturday.
The Ars Center, GCT and The Museum's Spring Fling is noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, with one performance of "Honk! Jr." at GCT starting at 11 a.m. During the open house event, youngsters will have a chance to sample art, science and acting camps.
Spring Fling, which is being touted as an open house, is the idea of Arts Center executive director Anne Craig.
"We wanted to do something to focus on youth in the community and it seemed like the right time," Craig said, noting Greenwood Community Theatre is presenting "Honk! Jr." and The Museum is home to the Greenwood School District 50 art show.
"It's just a way for us to invite parents and children to come in to each one of the facilities and visit and get some information."
The Arts Center, GCT and The Museum will have information about summer camps and programs available. Volunteers and staff will be on hand at each site to answer questions.
