A Waterloo woman faces charges following a crash in Greenwood County during which a vehicle overturned.
Rebecca Lynn Hatley, 31, was charged with driving under the influence in connection with the Thursday afternoon incident. It was not clear what substances she was under the influence of, as toxicology results were not immediately available Thursday.
According to preliminary reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Hatley was involved in a single-vehicle wreck in the 700 block of Milford Springs Road. She was driving a 2005 GMC Envoy traveling south on Milford Springs Road when she veered off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a fence outside a construction site.

SCHP Lance Cpl. Gary Miller said no one was injured in the wreck, and there were no passengers in the SUV at the time.
Hatley was visibly distressed at the scene moments after the crash and could be seen crying as she walked around her vehicle assessing the damage. Troopers transported her to the Greenwood County Detention Center, Miller said.
