COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Lander softball team dropped to 0-4 after Sunday's 5-3 loss against Lynn (Fla.) and 4-1 defeat at the hands of Saint Leo (Fla.).
In the first game, Lynn rallied from a 3-2 deficit in the seventh inning when Cherise McEnery smacked a three-run homer to left center.
M.K. Pegram (0-2) suffered the loss for the Bearcats after striking out two, walking four and allowing three runs on three hits in four innings.

Lynn took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI double by McEnery and an RBI single by Leanne Wright.
Bearcat pinch-runner Arielle Buchholz scored on an error in the bottom of the inning to trim the Lynn lead to 2-1.
