CALHOUN FALLS — Tremon Bryant's senior season on the Calhoun Falls Charter School boys basketball team can be summed up in one word.
Tremendous.
Bryant led the Flashes to a Region 1-A championship by averaging 26.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 1.7 steals per game. The 6-foot-5 forward was one of 10 players named to the South Carolina roster in the Carolinas All-Star Classic pitting the Palmetto state's best against North Carolina's best.

And now, Bryant is the Index-Journal Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
"It's a good accomplishment," Bryant said. "I'm the best in the Lakelands. I felt good (about my season). I ended my senior year with a bang."
