Riley
Riley
Monday, August 18, 2014 12:50 PM
His name’s Riley, but he never gets riled -- this 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix’s temperament is as calm as his delicate pink smile; he’s so pleasant we've never even seen him potty in his pen. A 55-pound white and brindle gent with a naturally affectionate, laid-back style, he loves a nice head scratch, gets along fine with other dogs, thinks a pull toy's a blast, is good on a leash, and can already sit for a treat. He's destined to be a fine family dog; we suggest bigger kids because of his size and a nice yard to run in. See how how easy it is to love an easygoing friend named Riley.
  • Otter
    Monday, August 25, 2014 6:25 PM
Her purr's as golden as her gleaming mustache -- 4-month-young Torti-cat Otter is as rich a friend as you'll find, from silky ebony and orange coat to slow double-wink eyes, to the peaceful way she rests her head on your shoulder and hums with contentment. She’s gentle enough for even young children, outgoing and playful, but wise and careful, too. She’s still so little, it would be best to keep her inside a few more months, the better to enjoy her lavish affection. Come meet the young girl who'll double your heart's wealth in an instant, a treasure named Otter.

  • Eugene
    Monday, August 25, 2014 6:23 PM
His name, Eugene, is from the Greek word for "well born"; the 4-year-old, 47-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix lives up to his name. Call him and he comes at a gallop, screeches to a halt and sits loyally at your feet, face smiling, tail wagging -- he doesn't jump on you. He adores a leash walk; thinks people, including little ones are delightful; can sit for a treat; and is working on house training. He's been treated for heart worm and should now need only preventive care, doesn't like to share his food, and gives cats a definite "maybe." Meet the calm companion with the aristocratic manners; Eugene is already neutered and ready to join your well born family today.

  • Baby
    Monday, August 18, 2014 12:55 PM
She's spun from a cloud of tri-color fur; at 4 years and only 5 pounds, Baby's airy coat is bigger than she is, but the quiet personality underneath is as warm her soft terra cotta shading. Her elegance is mostly unspoken; she'll chatter vivaciously for food and treats. She's fine with dogs, but will take her time with other cats, mostly because she doesn't see herself as one; and she prefers to live inside, where it's easier to stay lovely. Baby is already spayed and ready to go home with you today. Come hold this weightless wonder in your hands and heart.

The lovely orange markings in her soft gray coat make 3-year-old Begonia as pretty as the flower she’s named for, but her most lavish bloom by far is her big loving purr.
